S C H A U L A G E R
Located on Via Giuseppe Ripamonti,42 The Schaulager sits on the fringe of Milano, between a densely populated northern area with a open southern region. The primary approach was to create an ensemble across multiple scales, from the Urban scale where there is an evident differentiation of building languages to the minor scale of a design interior detail.
The Schaulager serves as a storage and exhibition space for art collections.
P r o c e s s
The final output developed as a result of a process project where the urban scale was worked in conjunction on the level of the room. Below are two massing models created for the comprehension of the effect of geometry and void when designing a mass building.
